Amelia Smistad is a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ and the owner of Ask Amelia Insurance Service, LLC (Ask Amelia). Ask Amelia was created with the desire to make a difference in the Medicare market. Inspired by the words of
Galatians 6:9-10, Amelia is motivated and committed to doing good and what is right for her Medicare eligible clients.
Anchored with a commitment to practicing her Medicare insurance business with integrity, Ask Amelia empowers clients as they transition to Medicare with an understanding of Medicare coverage, costs, and plan options. From there, they work together to carefully identify the most favorable Medicare plan option that will best serve their individual healthcare and budget needs. 24 years; gifted and talented daughter, Olivia Faith a “star player” from Texas A&M College of Liberal Arts/Communications and clinching the final spot with his “competitive and perseverance” attitude is son, Noah Anders as he finalizes his official transfer from Texas A&M College of Economics in 2023. Together, “Team Smistad” enjoys family movie nights, competitive pickle ball matches, and summer visits to Priest Lake in Idaho. They especially enjoy watching the annual four Grand Slam tennis tournaments: Australian Open, Rolland Garros, Wimbledon, and the

As an Independent Insurance Broker, whose primary focus is Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans, and Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans, I am appointed and authorized to offer insurance products with all the major Medicare health insurance carriers allowing me to provide clients an unbiased review of their Medicare plan options. I hold a Texas resident license and non-resident licenses in the states of Nevada, Louisiana, Arizona and Iowa. My no-cost to you service includes a four-step approach to identifying a favorable plan that meets and/or exceeds the unique healthcare needs of my clients.
